My CD mix of the month for tonight's February meetup is A Hip-Hop Compendium. This is a double-length mix I put together to provide a friend's teenage son with an intro to hip-hop. (He's a guitarhead who thinks rap music sucks and is beneath his attention.) The tracks are arranged in chronological order, but perhaps this playlist might work as well or better on shuffle.
