Dr. Bob Blackwood interviewed science fiction writers William Shunn, Jody Lynn Nye and Edison Blake for CAN TV's "Senior Network" series on March 23, 2011. The program first aired in Chicago on Channel 19 on April 8, 2011. Produced by Chicago seniors, "Senior Network" features a wide range of subjects and issues important to seniors. Chicago Access Network Television (CAN TV) gives every Chicagoan a voice on cable television by providing video training, equipment, facilities, and channel time for Chicago residents and nonprofit groups. CAN TV's five local, non-commercial channels reach one million viewers in the city of Chicago.
          
In 2003 at I-CON 22, a science fiction convention at SUNY Stony Brook, William Shunn was interviewed together with writers Scott Edelman and Robert J. Howe for the Trio television series "Parking Lot." Their brief snippets appear interspersed throughout this segment, which first aired January 25, 2004.
