Because the MTA hates us, you'll need to take a shuttle bus to Line Break

FML MTA
Important Note About Train Service in Astoria

As if it weren't sad enough that this afternoon's episode of Line Break is our last, the MTA has decided to make it harder for you to get there (as they did throughout the summer). And of course, in their inimitable fashion, they kept this information to themselves until the last possible moment.

In any case, the N train will not be running in Astoria this weekend. It will be replaced by shuttle bus service between Queensboro Plaza and Ditmars Blvd.

If you had planned to take the N train to get to Line Break tomorrow, you’ll instead need to transfer to a shuttle bus at Queensboro Plaza. (Just follow the crowd. There will be a ton of people in the same plight.) Take the shuttle bus to the end of the line at Ditmars Blvd., and you’ll be able to walk to Q.E.D. from there.

We recommend giving yourself at least an extra 30 minutes to get to Line Break on time tomorrow. We can't wait to see you there!

Just a reminder that Line Break, the eclectic monthly live literary magazine, returns this Saturday afternoon in a special Permanent Break Edition in Astoria, Queens.

At every show, live-lit veteran William Shunn brings a wild assortment of writers together on one stage. Don't miss our terrific December 1 lineup, featuring:

* John C. Foster will be unable to appear due to unforeseen circumstances.

No rules, no themes—just the best writers in town. Line Break—it's the start of a new thought. Don't miss it!
