"Luddites" makes preliminary Nebula ballot

It's official! My novelette "Dance of the Yellow-Breasted Luddites" has made the preliminary ballot for the 2001 Nebula Awards. The nine novelettes will be whittled down to five later this winter for the final ballot, so stay tuned for further news. To read the story in the meantime, order your copy of Vanishing Acts, a collection of science fiction stories about endangered species, edited by Ellen Datlow, from Barnes & Noble!
