Rikers Island

Laura just informed me that the corner where we get onto the Queensboro Bridge bike path is the same corner where, every morning at 5:00 am, a Corrections bus drops off the day's inmates released from Rikers Island.

We like to ride early, but we'll try to avoid being at that corner that early.
